Pellegrin Law

Since 1980, John Pellegrin, has based his practice in Sumner County, Tennessee, being a lifelong resident of Gallatin. He has tried over 200 jury trials, more than any other practicing attorney in Sumner County. Because of his extensive experience, he has been featured as a speaker at seminars for attorneys, both in Tennessee and out of state. Topics Mr. Pellegrin has been asked to teach to other attorneys include areas dealing with trial tactics, such as cross-examination techniques, opening statements, final arguments, as well as various areas of substantive law.

He is a past-President and lifetime member of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association and a lifetime member of the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He has been a member of the Tennessee Continuing Legal Education Commission and is a past-President of the Board of Legal Aid Society in this area. He has received an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell, which is the highest rating awarded to lawyers by that rating organization. He is a former hearing officer for the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility which is the body charged with providing ethics oversight of attorneys in Tennessee. He has also been recognized by Mid-South Super Lawyers, which lists top attorneys in Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi.

Mr. Pellegrin focuses his practice on criminal defense and handles everything from traffic violations and other misdemeanors to the most serious felonies. Although the majority of his practice is focused on criminal defense, he has substantial experience in, and will still undertake the representation of clients in serious personal injury and wrongful death cases.
