    - Mar 12 2020 If every mediator had Joanne's skill set, it would be really helpful for family courts. If your needing a mediator who is fair and experienced, then I highly recommend Joanne! As a parent, I had concerns about having someone else determine the outcome of my rights to my child. Rest assured, if your in a custody dispute, it is not her job to determine who gets the child. She encourages each party to try and find a reasonable solutions between themselves by talking. Joanne is great at this, if you go in with an open mind and remain level headed. She can only help, if your both willing to let her. It's best, if parties can find areas to compromise. Be open to discussing your issues. However, if that's too daunting, then start off with the something that you believe you will both be agreeable to that's not a contentious issue. You will more than likely not agree on everything, but hopefully on at least 1 to 3 things that will allow you to start the process of moving forward. The more decisions both parties can make the more control you take over the issues your facing. Joanne's listening skills are excellent and she really encourages each party to take control of the decisions they need to make moving forward. Again, she doesn't make the decisions, but clarifies what she believes you are saying and then will see if you agree. I would use her again and recommend her services to anyone who is open to trying to resolve issues with another party. -G

My case took 2 years (no fault on Joanne's part) and through out that entire time Joanne was patient with me and continued to guide and support at every step. There were times when I just wanted to give up, but she kept me going, Joanne was always looking out for my best interest. She is quick to respond to emails and phone calls.
