We customize our hurricane protection products for you. Our storm panels and security shutters are manufactured and certified by NAMI, to meet the larger missile impact test. Our Family has been serving the Gulf Coast and the Central East Coast of Florida since the 1973.

    - Feb 01 2023 Professional experience from start to finish. Jesse, the salesman, was great to work with. He was very helpful in our decisions concerning the various options available. Given this is a significant financial investment, we did not to be pressured into a decision. And we were not. Two different crews did the installation-one crew did the accordion shutters and another crew did the roll down shutters. AJ and his partner installed the accordion shutters in 1 day. Their work was professional and efficient. They answered all my questions and demonstrated the operation of the shutters. They also described the maintenance of the shutters. They cleaned up before leaving for the day. Josh and Eric spent a full day installing all the roll down shutters. Again their work was professional and efficient. Before leaving they demonstrated the shutters operation, discussed maintenance and answered my questions. They too cleaned up and put a few final touches needed for the accordion shutters as Josh did not have the necessary material in his van to complete. Nice teamwork between the 2 crews to get the job done right. All in all a great experience buying hurricane shutters that I hope I never need to use.

    - Sep 03 2021 We wanted to install remote control hurricane shades on our lanai after talking to sales reps from other companies we decided to use the shades from Jansen and signed a contract along with an initial down payment. It turned out when the technician came out to measure He found that one wall would not be able to have a shade installed because of the way the screen left no proper place to install it. They tried to engineer a method to alternately mount but to no avail thus we cancelled the order. The office staff immediately refunded our deposit. I feel Jansen did all that they could to try to help us out and although there was no sale we have recommended them to several people based on the handling of our situation. I highly recommend Jansen to all that may be considering having any services that they sell.

The price was good, competitive and the timeline for installation was reasonable (before hurricane season). Rolsafe showed up on time and efficiently installed the new shutter/bug screen combo while removing the old screen and shutter. Installation was seamless and everything works perfectly. We are more than happy and wouldn’t hesitate to use Rolsafe and Jansen again.

    - Aug 06 2021 Besides the very late installation as quoted per the purchase, Jansen could have been more honest with your answers as far as the reason for the delay of the installation. I was surprised that Russ wasn't involved more, not good salesmanship. The team you sent to install the electric roll down could have been a little more experienced on the installation. However they did get it done. The remote didn't work when I was leaving for the airport ,so I manually closed the screen. I guess the battery is dead. Additionally, upon installation, a small hole was accidentally put in the lanai screen. Jansen has promised, however, to address this issue.

    - Aug 05 2021 We have 2 roll-down aluminum shutters that all of a sudden did not roll down. It took about a month for Jansen repairmen to come to our house. I am not happy that it took so long, but I understand they are very busy. When Jansen repairmen (Paul and Sebastian) did arrive, they were professional and technically competent. They determined that the shutters came off track and observed that our house was recently painted. Hence, they surmised that the painters pushed them up and caused the shutters to get off track. I was impressed that Paul was able to come up with a reason why both shutters came off track. It did not take Paul and Sebastian long to fix them, and they departed. After they left, I tried to roll down one of the shutters manually, but it did not seem to come down. I called the office and explained the problem. Paul and Sebastian came back within an hour and showed me how to get the manual crank to work and explained that the gear ratio on this size shutter is such that it comes down very slowly as you crank. I was very happy that everything worked when they left the second time, and that plausible explanations were provided for what went wrong. My only complaint is that it took a month after I called for me to get an appointment for the repair. It turned out that Tropical Storm Elsa was coming. Luckily, the storm was mild here. However, if the storm had built up to a powerful hurricane, we could have suffered substantial damage.

They were recently delivered and installed by AJ, a wonderful Jansen installer. The quality of the shutters is outstanding. AJ was at my home for several hours installing the shutters. He worked tirelessly and did an excellent job. He showed great attention to detail. When finished, he showed me how to pull the shutters open and had me practice locking and unlocking them so I'd be prepared to close the shutters correctly in preparation when a hurricane approaches. I would highly recommend Jansen Shutters and Windows for your hurricane protection needs and especially recommend AJ as your installer as he did a superb job.
