Geralyn F. Schmitt, graduated from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut with a Bachelors in Business Administration in 1986. She obtained her Juris Docturate from the University of Bridgeport School of Law in Bridgeport, Connecticut in 1991.
Her practice concentration is in the areas of Real Estate, Bankruptcy and Estate Planning and Probate. She was admitted to the Connecticut Bar and the United States District Court in 1992. She is a member of the New Haven County Bar Association, American Bar Association and the Connecticut Bar Association.

Geralyn has steered us through 2 closings, one with many issues. She was always in constant communications with us through the process with guidance, wisdom and her vast experience. She was able to resolve all the problems. She is extremely professional, friendly and easy to interact with. She has also created our will and other personal documents. Attorney Schmitt is the best! She explains everything in detail and is always willing to answer any questions. She focuses on all the details so that there are no surprises at the closing. Her experience is obvious in all that she knows and does during the process. I was so pleased with her real estate work, I also asked her to re-do my will, power of attorney and living will. She made it so simple for me (although these things are never really simple) that I feel my family is well protected if something should happen to me. I would highly recommend Attorney Geralyn Schmitt!
