My divorce case took was long-but David made it so easy to understand. When I was looking for a divorce attorney -the other three attorneys recommend David. All I can say is that from the bottom of my heart is that David Lee is the best attorney in and around Kane County if not the whole state of Illinois.     - May 08 2020 I'm a rather tough critic and believe excellent reviews should be given sparingly. Mr. David Lee is an experienced, sharp, personable, dedicated and gets results. I selected David out of a handful of known attorneys because a good friend was struggling with a difficult divorce with an opposing attorney that many other attorneys didn't want to deal with. David was not only confident, but had successfully dealt with the opposing attorney, thus experience matters. David was able to successfully pick up where another attorney had failed and move forward swiftly and successfully. David listens to his clients to find solutions that are best for them and works diligently for them. He is professional and handles emotional situation with grace, even when things get ugly from the opposing side. David has been a prosecutor, a guardian ad litem (“GAL”) and is a seasoned divorce attorney. This gives him in advantage in situations involving orders of protection and parenting time. He was quoted by a legal professional on a recent case as "working a miracle". What I have learned is when hiring an attorney, its best to hire one that is not only an excellent at what he or she does, but also one that is a good human to ensure you are treated well during a difficult legal process. David is both, which is why I highly recommend him.

    Oct 16 2019 Let me just start by saying I’m not a person who writes reviews, but I feel like it is without a doubt necessary. I left David Lee a message that I was in need of a attorney on a holiday weekend, along with a few other attorneys because I didn’t know any. He called me back on LABOR DAY. I didn’t even get phone calls or emails back from the others for DAYS, if not a week. I was so worried about what the outcome of my case was going to be and what was going to happen with my life. In just the first phone call with David I felt 150{cbbf165febdb5c9e7382d0ea2260dd38549f33437b67133716bb132863876b24} better. He set my mind at ease and gave me the chance to have my first nights sleep in days. Long story short... if you need an attorney go with David. Everything he committed to, he nailed it.     Apr 13 2019 Mr. Lee is a very professional attorney that has ample knowledge of the Kendall County court system, through his previous experience as an Assistant States Attorney. Mr. Lee is very professional and returned all phone calls, text messages and emails promptly. The flexibility in scheduling meetings was superb, as well as the convenience of where his office is located. My initial meeting with David was very informative and put my mind at ease, as legal matters can have a mental burden on individuals, but this was not the case with Mr. Lee. Should I find the need again to hire an attorney, I have no doubt that Mr. Lee will be the first attorney that I reach out to and I would highly recommend him to my friends and family.

My initial inquiry was based on the fact that he is a former Assistant State's Attorney, believing that he would have an excellent command of the law. He absolutely does. And when Mr. Lee heard my story, the challenges my situation presented, he asked what I felt were thoughtful questions, and gave candid feedback that made me feel he truly understood and wanted to represent me because he believed he could make a difference, not just a buck. Mr. Lee's professionalism is characterized by how well he listens, the insights he shares into how things work, and the respect he shows when emotional and financial drivers may impact how you view the legal process. On several occasions we disagreed, and Mr. Lee not only listened but expressed sympathy in his response, even though his experience and knowledge of the law was sometimes being challenged. I'm very grateful for that. You truly want someone like him in your corner. The way I look at the representation I have had from Mr. Lee is this: you have a choice to make, a choice that may determine financial, parenting, or other issues. The best thing you can do is align yourself with someone who has the experience, integrity, professional demeanor and relationships that will represent you best. I've seen how other attorneys respond to him, and he to them, and believe that his reputation has been built on how he has represented individuals like myself.
